Each project balances function and emotion, helping clients remove the noise of daily life and return to something slower, softer, and deeply personal. As a full-service designer and supplier, Michael Murray Studio manages every stage — from concept and spatial planning to material specification and installation. Design fees start from $4,000 NZD + GST for a kitchen design and extend up to $30,000 NZD + GST for a full home design scope of approximately 1,000 m², with each proposal tailored to the project’s scope, pace, and level of detail. Whether reimagining an inner-city apartment or a coastal retreat, Michael Murray Studio brings a refined yet approachable sensibility to every interior.

Led by designer Michael Murray, the studio works across residential and small commercial projects — from kitchens and bathrooms to full home renovations and new builds. Every project is approached with a balance of creativity and technical precision, blending aesthetic vision with practical design expertise.

Michael has been within the design industry for many years and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Design from AUT & Diploma in Kitchen Design from the National Kitchen and Bathroom Association (NKBA).
​Michael’s creativity has been recognized throughout his career with a number of Awards (National Kitchen & Bathroom Awards + Tida Trends Awards).
